Luxury Safes

UK’s largest stock of luxury safes. Contact us for details and prices.

Hand-finished Luxury Safes for watches, jewellery and collections — the kind that live in a dressing room or a study rather than at the back of a cupboard. Our luxury collection is made up of ex-showroom and ex-demonstration pieces alongside a small number of unused units held in our own warehouse.

Every safe is supplied with a 12-month warranty and installed by our own engineers. In addition, condition, certification and full specification are confirmed in writing against the individual piece before you commit to anything.

Luxury Safes: Specifications

Because our luxury safes sell as one-off pieces, the collection changes constantly. Even so, the categories below cover what we hold and what we can commission for you. So tell us which one interests you, and we will come back with current availability, condition, full specification and price — usually the same working day.

Watch Winder Safes

For Automatic Watch Collections · EN Rated · 12 Month Warranty

An automatic watch that sits still stops. However, integrated winder modules keep the movements running while the door is shut, so a collection stays ready to wear rather than needing to be reset each time you open it. Inside, everything is finished for watches specifically — cushioned holders, lined trays and lighting that comes on with the door. Because each piece is different, winder counts and interior layouts vary.

Jewellery Safes

Lined Drawers & Trays · EN Rated · 12 Month Warranty

These are built around what goes inside them rather than around a standard shelf. Lined pull-out drawers, ring rolls and necklace hooks keep pieces separated, visible and undamaged, so a collection stays organised instead of piled into a box. As a result, they suit private collections and jewellers alike — particularly anyone who needs certified protection with an interior worth opening.

Bespoke Safes

Hand-Built in Britain · Your Dimensions, Your Finish

If nothing in the collection fits your space or specification, we can build it for you instead. Our parent company’s SMP Security division has been hand-building bespoke luxury safes in Britain for over 50 years, from its manufacturing facility in Telford, Shropshire — one of the last remaining British safe manufacturers. As a result, everything is customised to your dimensions, interior layout and finish, while a dedicated private client consultant and insurance approval are handled for you throughout.

Restored · One of a Kind

Antique Safes

Where Heritage Meets Security · Fully Restored · 12 Month Warranty

Luxury safes do not have to be modern. Manufacturers such as Chubb, Tann and Milner once competed on beauty as much as strength, so a restored Victorian or Edwardian strongbox — brass faceplate, hand-painted pinstripes, enamelled finish — is a genuine piece of design in its own right. Every one is unique, too, and each is lovingly reconditioned by our own engineers before it leaves us, with bespoke finishes available if you want it to match a room.

Genuine antique safes predate EN 1143-1, so security details vary by unit and are confirmed at enquiry.

See Them In Person

Visit Our Showroom

Live Stock · Open the Doors · Talk to an Engineer

Luxury safes are difficult to judge from a photograph. The weight of the door, the depth of the finish, how the drawers run, whether the interior actually suits your collection — all of it is obvious in thirty seconds in person, although it is almost impossible to convey on a screen.

Our showrooms hold live stock, and because this collection changes as pieces sell, it is worth calling ahead so that we can have the right safes out and ready for you. Bring your dimensions too, and we will tell you honestly whether what you are looking at will get into the room.

  • checkSee and handle live stock rather than catalogue images
  • checkCompare finishes, interiors and lock types side by side
  • checkTalk through insurance requirements with someone who fits these safes
  • checkCall ahead and we will have the pieces you want to see ready

who buys them

Common Applications

Luxury safes are usually bought for a particular room and particular contents. So find the situation that matches yours below.

Behind The Door

What Makes Luxury Safes Different

With luxury safes, the difference is rarely the steel. Instead, it is the finish you see every day, together with the interior built around what you are actually keeping inside.

diamond

Finish

Hand-applied lacquer, wood veneer, leather cladding and brushed steel instead of a powder-coated shell. The exterior is treated as furniture, because that is where it ends up.

watch

Watch Winders

Programmable rotors that keep automatic movements wound while the door is shut, so a collection is ready to wear rather than needing to be reset each time.

inventory_2

Fitted Interiors

Lined drawers, jewellery trays, ring rolls and adjustable shelving, so what you store stays separated, visible and undamaged rather than stacked in a heap.

lightbulb

Interior Lighting

LED lighting that comes on with the door, so you can actually see what is inside — a small detail that makes a daily difference on a deep or dark interior.

fingerprint

Locking

Biometric, electronic and key options depending on the unit, with dual-control and time-delay available on selected models. Because the collection is mixed, lock type is always confirmed per safe at enquiry.

Certification

Our modern luxury safes are EN rated. The specific grade and any cash or valuables rating is confirmed per unit — ask us before you speak to your insurer.

Ex-showroom, ex-demonstration and new pieces, all EN rated and held in stock. Because each one is a single piece, once it is gone it is gone.

Grades & Insurance

A Beautiful Safe Is Still a Safe

Our modern luxury safes are EN rated. Because the collection spans several manufacturers and specifications, the exact grade and any cash or valuables rating differs from unit to unit — so we confirm those figures against the specific safe at enquiry rather than publishing a range that might not apply to the one you want. Antique pieces predate EN 1143-1 and are assessed individually.

What that means for you:

  • checkTell us your insurer’s requirement and we will match a safe to it
  • checkCondition and full certification supplied in writing before you commit
  • check12-month warranty on every unit, as with everything we sell
  • checkAdvice from engineers who fit these safes rather than just sell them

Always confirm your insurer’s exact requirements before purchase. Grades and ratings are indicative and individual policies vary.

Delivery, Installation & Anchoring

Delivering and Installing Luxury Safes

Luxury safes are heavy, awkward and expensive to get wrong. Our own installation teams therefore handle stair access, lift limits, floor loading and anchoring, and we will survey before we quote if the access looks tight. After all, a safe that is not properly anchored is not properly secure, and most insurers will say the same.

  • checkNationwide UK delivery and installation by our own engineers
  • checkAccess survey before quotation where required
  • checkAnchoring to floor or wall as standard
  • checkWorldwide shipping and export packaging available

Enquire About Our Luxury Safes

Tell us which category caught your eye, or simply describe what you need to protect. In return, we will come back with current availability, condition, full specification and price on the luxury safes we currently hold. Usually that reaches you within one working day.
